We will explore Lucia Capacchione's book by the same title as we share tips, recipes and exercise routines. This book will give you the opportunity to combine guided visualization, journaling and art activities to open communication with your body issues and heal the yo-yo dieting syndrome.
Open to all who want to find a gentle way to regain their health.

This weekend will help you connect with your inner child &
spirit. Explore painting in a safe & nurturing group. Learn how to work with creative blocks. Feel the joy of your authenticity. No talent required, only an adventurous spirit. Come discover your authenticity & creative flow - develop your intuition. Based on the work of Michele Cassou.
(Life, Paint & Passion, Point Zero)
The Method of Experiential Painting is a process of
letting your intuition lead you on a journey. By being totally immersed in the creative flow
brought about by the movement of paint and brush on paper, you gain a sense
of mastery that comes from a deeper source than skill or technique. Through
painting you reclaim what is authentic .
Those seeking to go beyond self imposed creative blocks, and access new
sources of energy will find this a helpful method of self-exploration and
spiritual discovery. The paintings are viewed as a record of the process,
not a product. They are not critiqued, displayed or interpreted. Discussion
and theory of process take place before and after painting.
Although the therapeutic value of this process is profound, it often evokes
strong physical and emotional release, and is not a format for treating
serious emotional conditions.

Debbie Purdy is a licensed clinical professional counselor and board
certified art therapist in Illinois. She holds degrees from two art schools,
the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Art Institute of Chicago. She is
a teacher of The Cassou Painting Experience founded by Michelle Cassou and
described in the books, Life, Paint and Passion and Point Zero.

Advanced Creativity Group
This bimonthly group is designed to further explore creative
dreams and purpose. Completion of The Artist's Way or 12 Secrets of Highly
Creative Women is required. (Men who have completed the Artist's Way are
welcome to participate in this ongoing experience.) Discussions may include
tapping into additional sources such as Julia Cameron's Vein of Gold,
Rosanne Bane's Dancing in the Dragon's Den and other creative text's. The
group will serve as a supportive, non-judgmental sounding board for
participant's dreams & goals. Group members will be encouraged to work
outside of the workshop in order to gain additional insights. Sharing will
be essential. Consider this "workshop" as time to renew your
commitment to your creativity instead of going dormant!
