Affirmations are a wonderful tool.  In the Artist's Way, we write them during the morning pages journaling time.  Choose an affirmation.  Write it 5 times.  Each time you write it, also write that nasty thought that comes to argue with it.  Keep writing the same affirmation until you have cleared all your "blurts" about it!  Remember to have fun with this...
